Vintage 1987 RadioShack Porsche 962C Turbo Power RC Car Complete But For Repair

Looks ok with clean dry battery compartments, but I installed new batteries (NOT INCLUDED) and it did not work. The controller lit up but light on car did not. Includes all pictured, car, controller with antenna, battery charger, and box. Car is showing some wear and the box has been taped. Sold as is. See pix's.
